Kisha Hugh-Abban is a first-generation American born to Jamaican parents and is a product of the New York City Public School System. Kisha has a deep passion for school counseling and enjoys helping students navigate through the college application process. A firm supporter of Historical Black Colleges and Universities, she credits the NBC hit series “A Different World” and Spike Lee’s “School Daze” for shaping her college experience.

She is a graduate of the College of New Rochelle, where she earned a BA in social science and an MS in Guidance and Counseling. Kisha also received an M.Ed in Secondary Education/Social Science from Alabama A&M University. She can currently be booked for social/emotional counseling, college and career advising, conferences, webinars, and training for schools and other organizations.  Kisha works with clients in person and virtually in New York, China, Nigeria, and Ghana.
